What kind of training should I be doing to be a middle Line Backer?

I want to train to be a middle Line Backer. I weigh 270 and need to cut down to about 235 to 245. What kind of weight training and cardio should I be doing?

First, FIRST TRAIN YOUR MIND TO BE FEARLESS, YOUR HEART TO BE COURAGEOUS then run and hit the stairs.

Bench in the 250 to 325 range
leg press at least 350

lots of wind sprints at least 100 a day

Watch movies like BLOODSPORT, Officer and a Gentlemen
Navy Seals etc.

YOU GOTTA HAVE THE MIND AND HEART TO GO WITH THE BODY. READ JOE TORRE'S BOOK "GROUND RULES FOR WINNERS".

You should defintely get on a rigourous weight exersize program. One program that worked for me was the Body for Life book. You should probaly also lift w/ your legs to get faster and possibly jog for endurance training.
