Will TOMMY NOBIS ever get into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame?

Every year I wonder if the veterans committee will vote him in and every year he doesn't make it in. Honestly, I don't even know if he is nominated anymore. I'm not NFL statistical buff or anything like that and Tommy Nobis is why before my time. I'm only 32, but when I see all his stats and awards, I am appalled at why he is not in the HOF. Does anyone have any insight???

ISN'T TOMMY NOBIS HOF WORTHY??
NFL Draft 1966 / Round 1/ Pick 1
Pro Bowls 5, Awards 1965 Outland Trophy, 1965 Maxwell Award, Honors NFL 1960s All-Decade Team, Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame, Atlanta Falcons Retired his #60, NFL Records 294 tackles as a rookie

In 1965, Tommy Nobis became the first player ever drafted by the expansion Atlanta Falcons as well as the first linebacker to be chosen first overall when he was taken with the #1 pick in the 1966 NFL Draft on November 27, 1965. The Houston Oilers also drafted him in the AFL Draft.

No

Excellent question. I also believe that he is HOF worthy. It is a shame that with his numbers that he is being overlooked. Keep making noise and maybe someone will listen.

I HOPE SO. HE SHOULD BE IN IT.

So many great football players have been screwed by the HOF committee and Tommy Nobis is one of them.
