Do NFL take new players from semi-pro leagues?

is this true that nfl takes lotta players from semi-pro leagues like afl and cfl i thought nfl only take players from collage..any suggestions??

those are pro....

and yes they will take players from them.

Well they took Tommy "Wait which jersey is my team wearing" Maddox and HeHateMe(who I cant remember his real name) from the XFL. So I'd say if the player seems to have enough talent, yes. But it is more rare then the NBA taking players from Europe.

Those are pro leagues. It happens but its very rare. Usually you are drafted out of college or signed as an undrafted FA out of college. Tommy Maddox got drafted and wasn't very good and ended up in the XFL trying to revive his career. Sometimes guys go to camp with every year only to get cut in camp and they might sign on in a different league. Kurt Warner came from the AFL.
