Why not use the best AFL QB-receiver teams as NFL inserts in close games? They sign for peanuts, and work like crazy. Use them as 'pony backfields' were once used in colleges.

Some good players have come out of the arena football.... But not many... Some would be good at this but other fit better in the Arena. But Arena football is good to watch.

because arena football players are no where near the calibor of an NFL player and they would get destroyed. the minnesota vikings picked up some guys from an arena football team a few years ago and neither of them even made the practice squad.
