Arena foortball league??????

can someone explain the game to me

Smaller field: 85 feet wide by 50 yards (so half the length of normal football) and 8 yard endzones

smaller teams - game is played 8 on 8 with a 20 man roster so a lot of players end up playing some offense and defense (especially the more athletic ones) only players that dont play both offense and defense are the quarterback, kicker and the offense has one specialist while the defense gets two. (so 6 players play both sides).

4 offensive players must line up at scrimmage and 3 defensive players must and only one linebacker can blitz. A player can be running in motion of offense before the snap.

Same scoring as in regular football expect a drop-kick extra point is worth 2 and a drop-kick field goal is worth 4 but you never really see anyone do it.

NO PUNTING. On fourth down they go for it or kick a field goal.

Catching is like NCAA only need on foot inbounds. But if you catch a ball off the endzone nets its still good and you get a TD.

Overtime each team gets one possession then if still tied it goes to sudden death.

hope this helps. its ok to watch on tv but no match for the NFL. It actually pretty fun to go to a game though

Exactly like normal football with one or two cacthes.
boards, smaller arena, indoors

just combine professional football with arcade pinball.

It's like regular football. You throw or run the ball down the field and try to score but the field is smaller only 50 yards instead of 100, there are walls on the sideline so a player is not out of bouds unless he goes is knocked into the wall or over it. Players also play both sides of the ball.

It's 50 yard long, the width is shorten(dont have the exact measurement). the goal post is very narrow. if a team doesnt get a first down, a team has four downs to score or get the first down. you cannot punt it. Before the snap, the WR can go 10 yard back and have biginning start (make sure they do not pass the line of scrimmage)before the play begins.Thats the only difference.

theres also special rules for the linebackers called the mac and jack linebackers
i cant remember which but only 1 can blitz the qb and the other can help guard a player
theres also a special box that they cant leave unless the qb runs it
its such a stupid and very confusing rule
theres also nets which u can throw off of and catch it before it hits the ground if the ball hits the net it is still in play until it hits the ground.
