| BCS......A love hate relationship? |

If your team is in you Love it....... I think your right because if you win it....then all the other teams that didnt make will keep saying it isnt a legitimate championship....... |

If we had a playoff system of 6 teams, then 7 and 8 would complain. If you had 8 teams, then 9 and 10 would complain. This is a no win situation. Besides, the bowl sponsors won't let this happen. We shouldn't leave some guy with wacky computations (it's like trying to figure out taxes) telling us who plays. |

OUR TEAM IS IN AND I STILL HATE IT.. i FEEL CHEATED AT THE END OF EVERY SEASON... You are way off. The BCS sucks whether your team makes it to the title game of not. You figure even if your team goes undefeated and to wins the BCS title there will be a couple other deserving teams that didn't get a chance. Then people will say yeah your team won but they didn't play the #3 team. The #3 team that really should have been #2 all a long. It sure is nice to be #1 again isn't it? No most SEC fans do both at same time. lets just say you should call is the S.U.C.K.S instead of the BCS Another good question is, "Conference Championship games....a love hate relationship?" Sure, it's a love hate relationship. But Division 1-A Football is the only division not to have a playoff system. Usually the BCS ranks the top 4 to 8 teams correctly. But how do you really know that the top 2 teams will be playing for the title when the 2 to 4 teams below them in the polls could very well beat the #1 or #2 ranked team. And what's up with LSU losing a home game? They don't deserve to be in the title game. I don't understand why everybody loves on a tournament. Tournaments aren't any better at finding the best team than a single national championship game - especially if you include more 4 teams in. And if you include 4, #5 is going to feel jipped. No one can tell me that when Villanova wins the tournament from an 8 that they are really the best team in the country. The beautiful thing about a college football season is that it matters - every game. Don't come crying to me when we ruin that with a tournament. |
