| Why is Ohio St. ranked above Arizona St.? |
|
With Ohio St. recent loss to Illinios makes me wonder why are they #7 in the BCS when Arizona St has a sole loss at Oregon, who's a very strong #2. It seems to me that the current system that we have established for our rankings is set up more as a popularity contest rather than a way to establish the best teams in collage football. |

Does it really matter? Oregon proved they should be #1. |

your right....its because Ohio State has more history because the voters think OSU is better. simple hard to drop from # 1 to #10 .asu is a good football team no doudt ,but look at orgeon 10-0 lsu lost one to unranked now ky thats what don't add up to me trying to figure out how is 1 loss team better than 10-0 i will my mmm off if orgeon plays lsu kicks there butt Because OSU sucks a** and the BCS seems to put schools like that in the top 10 for some odd reason. Remember the NC game last year, OSU talked all this s*** about how bad they were going to beat Florida,......? You bring up a good point my friend, keep it up! Arizona State, by far has a tougher schedule than damn Ohio State. No duh. yes i agree with you. asu should be ranked above osu. but dont worry too much, osu will lose to michigan therefore making appalacian st the big-10 champion. unfortunately i also think kansas might actually win out and the get slaughtered in the nc game against lsu. oregon v lsu would be a much better game, lsu would only beat oregon by 14 as opposed to beating kansas by 28. nobody comes into new orleans and beats LSU! No reason other then big 10 bias. Big 10 teams always get rankings higher then they deserve. no other way to explain Michigan being #12 before this weeks loss Probably because if they played, Ohio State would beat Arizona State... not a fan of either team. Because BCS stand for Big Crock of Sh!t! I agree with you but not about Arizona State. Who your wins come against SHOULD make a huge difference in the power/bcs rankings. I use this formula to pick my teams. |
