Towards the end of September, West Virginia made some mistakes, their best player QB Pat White gets hurt and they lost to South Florida - That's unforgivable.

But LSU, #1 in the AP, Coaches, and BCS Standings can lose to Kentucky who is no longer in the Top 20 and just got throttled by Miss St (who WVU had no problem with), and that is FORGIVABLE.

#2 Oregon can lose to a Cal team that now has exactly 1 vote in the Coaches Top 25 - and that is FORGIVABLE.

#3 Oklahoma can lose to Colorado who after their loss to Iowa St. last week now has 6 losses.....and that's of course FORGIVABLE.

HEY OLDMAN - you obviously don't know what defense is, as you can't even spell it. If WVU has no defense, why are they ranked 4th in the nation in Total defense, 9th in the nation in fewest points allowed??

I guess just because the Big East goes 5 and 0 in bowl games last year doesn't mean that they are a real conference worthy of anyone's respect.

I guess we'll just have to do it again. I know it won't change anyone's mind, but it sure will be satisfying.

After Cincinnati pounds them by 20, this question will not matter. The Big East is a weak conference. If anything, West Virgina gets too much credit.

i was thinking the same thing if wvu doesnt go to a major bowl then the something is definetly wrong...................................... only reason they was cuz when pat white got hurt the backup came in and stunk it up

Kansas in undefeated, and they are ranked third. I think they probably have a bigger ***** than WVU. OSU's loss is to a team that IS still ranked, 19th, and everyone talks about how terrible they are(and they are ranked where they should be, but the trash talking is a little much) Personally I think WVU is a good team, and if they beat Cincy they should be mentioned as a title contender. The way I see this season playing out, WVU has a good shot if they win out.
