Oregon vs Arizona, Why so many people see an upset here?

Well, i know Arizona beat them a year ago, but this year is different, why someone can be scare (check the odds in Las Vegas they fear that line), I mean this is not the same Arizona from last year (i think they are worse), and Oregon maybe wont be in the Championship match cause that BCS cheat system, but sure will be at Rose Bowl?

I think this wont be a close game. It will be +20 poins difference for Oregon.

Michigan has better chances to upset the Buckeyes, than Arizona to beat the Ducks.

On paper it looks like an easy win for Oregon. But the combination of the high ranking, the road game atmosphere, and the pressure of being a big ( 11 pt ) favorite could end up making this a close game. Unless Dixon gets hurt, I think the Ducks go home tonight with another win. I agree with you on Michigan vs Ohio State. Ohio State is one of the most overrated teams this year playing in a weak conference which is also overrated.

thet're losing big right now. So that seems like a good reason for the upset talk. See ya later Duck fans. Report It

History has a way of repeating itself. Until Cal can win in a convincing manner against Arizona, Cal will always be considered the underdog by many college fans.

Arizona has won two games in a row and they are playing in Arizona.

To be honest I believe it is just wishful thinking. Oregon is too good a team to lose to Arizona.

But I am still hoping for a loss.

The must be blind. Ain't happening.

Oregon is a machine right now and Arizona will not come close to beating them.

oregon will win the national championship

Wishful thinking on their part. Oregon will win by 18 plus.

this is not even gonna be close, and im an lsu fan. i think espn thinks oregon is the best so they overhyped this game so they could look good like ohio state vs penn state

Oregon has one player to stop, stop Dixon and you win. How hard can that be?

Mostly wishful thinking, helped by the fact that a lot of bigger upsets have happened this year. Better teams than Oregon have lost to unranked teams this year, so it could happen again.

i don't know about 20+, maybe more like 14+, but i don't see a way oregon really gets a challenge of any sort here, there's too much of a talent discrepancy, and it's clear that mike stoops just can't get the mildcats going in the right direction, even after 2-3 years of talk of arizona finally getting it right and going to a bowl game and this and that

So many factors playing into this game...

1. The game is nationally televised on ESPN
2. The Ducks are getting national attention.
3. Arizona's head coach is the brother of Bob Stoops, who coached a couple of times against the Ducks, so he has some inside scoop.
4. In this college season, it's not easy being #2 in the nation. Just ask Cal!
