I'm an east coaster but i honestly think the pac-10 is quickly catching up to the sec, for now i have them slightly behind the sec i'd love to see the top 4 teams from each conference play round robin to determine which conference is best. imagine the great matchups that would be created |

1. SEC - no doubt, deepest, toughest, winner of the SEC is almost always in the hunt for the national championship |

Almost every expert says that the Big east is the conference to watch this year! #1 PAC-10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... 1 ) PAC 10 Best Schools USC, UCLA, Arizona State, Stanford, and Cal First off how is the Pac 10 catching up to anyone? They couldn't beat theirself out of a wet paper bag!! Wait, is it Stanford you're talking about....? The Big East was much, much better and stronger before Virginia Tech, Miami, and Boston College bolted for the ACC. I love the people who say the University Of Texas Is overrated...... They are probably the most constant team in the NCAA I cant remember when they didn't have a season where they didn't win 10 games ( Mac Brown is the man) If anyone is overrated its a team like USC , I will say the sec has the most powerhouse teams right now though. Texas has no one who can touch them in 07-08 they will be undefeated and will be a contender for the title. Mark My words 1. SEC 1.SEC (Highest number of teams that can contend for the National title.) I agree the SEC is the best. Why do you feel the Pac 10 is catching up to anybody? They don't have a winning record against any of the other Big 4(Big 10, Big 12, SEC, and Pac10}. They are a pathetic .388 against the SEC. They have had a couple of good teams lately noteable USC and Cal. But the SEC consistently has the most teams in the top 25. Each year there are at least 4 or 5 really good teams from the SEC. Given that fact they easily play the toughest schedule. I've heard a lot of people say the SEC plays too many division II teams. If you had to play Florida, LSU, Tenneesee, Auburn, Georgia, etc every week wouldn't you want a break. But the fact is the Big12 has played almost four times as many div. II teams as the SEC. And the Big 10 has played over twice as many div. III teams as the SEC. Don't believe it? Go to cfbdatawarehouse.com and check it out.
