BCS Unfair?

I know it happened to Mischigan, but like UCLA they lost to an unranked team pretty baddly but other ranked teams this weekend Number 3-10s go beat by no name teams and they dont fall out of the Top 25 right away. I dont know but I think the BCS is a little lobsided. Like Hawaii, they are not a Top 25 level team, they allow a lot of points to colleges that arent even good in football, their quarter back sucks, and their D isnt very good. I donno but I have a big problem with the BCS. Any CONSTRUCTIVE comments about the BCS would appreciated.

Until they go to playoff system like the other divisions in college football, the BCS is and will always be alot of BS.
It seems every year there is at least one team that deserves to be in contention for the championship game and ends up watching it from home ie; Auburn and Utah a couple of years ago. The only way to decide a true champion is to have a top 10 bracket and let them play off to the National Championship. I would rather have a controversy about someone being the 11th ranked team instead of someone being the 3rd or 4th ranked team and being just as good, if not better than the 2nd ranked.

a playoff system is definately needed. i agree. the bcs is pretty crappy.

there aint nothin' fair about the bcs and nobody ever said there was. it stinx and it sux!

almost every year since the bcs started there has been a team or two stuck out with a legit claim to being #1. heck, some years more than that. of course us fans want to buy into it and argue about what could easily be setlled with a playoff. well, we are stupid.

the powers that be say it's because they are concerned about putting to much on the college football players plate and dont want to hurt the existing bowls. WELL that is a straight up lie!

first of all, every sport in college athletics, including football, has a playoff schedule, except for div 1 football. nobody is concerned about their travel schedules or academics.

here's what's really going on. the commish of the big 10, who i believe is also athletic director for michigan, makes so much money from the existing bowl system for the big 10, michigan, and the ncaa, he fights a playoff system. he is the most powerful person in college sports and freely admits he works for michigan and the big 10 and doesnt care about anything else. he is sucking the goose for every buck in it; but dont be confused. it aint about student athletes or anything else.

he's gradually giving up power as he works the deal HE wants and we will see a playoff within the next 20 years or so...but it is all a scam....

If it wasn't for the BCS - most people wouldn't be talking about college football. While a play-off system would appear to be a good thing, it would diminish a lot of the early interest in the season.

Let's face it -- the controversy the BCS generates is actually good for college football.

Just my 2 cents

The BCS poll has not come out yet and they do not control the AP or coaches polls.

OK PEOPLE>>>>>>Lets get real,,, Because of the >>>HUGE,,dollars generated By the BOWLS....From the Sugar Bowl all the way Down to the Emerald Nuts bowl, a playoff system May NEVER be put into Place.. Do you really think all these sponsers are going down without a fight...I say NO...

The BCS hasn't even come out yet, want to rephrase your question?
