Will LSU get saved again by another Big 12 team? Bailed out from the beating Oregon would give them?

Will LSU be saved from humiliation by another Big 12 team just like it did the year they won the BCS title. This is very similar, expect an overrated Oklahoma team or Kansas team to save LSU from the butt kicking they would receive from Oregon. The sad thing is that LSU won't even send a thank you note to the BCS for saving them.

LSU defense? what defense? If you think Kentucky has offense watch what Oregon can do

no one will save LSU this year...It will be LSU vs. Oregon this year and everyone expects LSU to win big....i remember when USC was supposed to beat Texas a few years ago but a running QB named Vince Young led the longhorns to victory...Dixon will lead this team to victory this year in the NC game...

call the wambulance

I see that LSU is better then Oregon... But it doesn't matter because the Jayhawks are going to run over everyone in the next few weeks and in the championship game

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!!! GO KU!!!

LSU dosent need saving from anyone. Dennis Dickson has never even played a defense close to the tigers, its not easy to run the read on Jackson and Dorsey.

Dont you mean who will save Oregon from being demolished by LSU ?

i think lsu is goin to get lucky. from wat ive seen oregon is easily the best team this year and they were one goal line fumble away from being undefeated. unfortunatly i dont think they will play for a national championship because the pac 10 does not hav a championship game. i think whoever wins the big 12 championship game will hav jus enough leverage to leapfrog oregon. however im still not sold on lsu and i wouldnt be surprised if they lossed. i think it should be oklahoma and oregon for the national championship

The OU/LSU game...well, OU did not get killed. They had a one-legged QB and LSU admits they were worn out at the end of the game and were glad it ended. Does not sound like overrated to me.

Now the year OU got creamed by USC in the title game...well, yes they were overrated that year.

I would love to see OU and Oregon play for the title, just because I think it would be a great game. However, as an OU fan, I would rather play LSU. You have to beat the best to be the best...Not saying we would win, but no better way to find out for sure how good or bad each team really is.

If Oregon makes it against LSU. All I will say is Quack Quack. I will be an Oregon fan that day.

I hope every SEC team loses their bowl game. I am tired of hearing how they are the best by far. They play each other just like other conferences do, yet they get a pass on the "no good out of conference competition" theory. When in fact they lost their good out of conference games..

Oregon.......Oh no.............ill play anybody from but Oregon....
After all the Pac 10 is the toughest conference and USC is the number one team..........

Starting to sound like a USC partisan.......

Seriously, that would be worst case scenario,.......Because we would never hear the end of your whining........

You should try to schedule a conference championship for a change....

Besides if Cal can beat you so can we.......

Bruce, once again you have proven that you are a product of 1960's California acid heads. Oklahoma is UNDERRANKED for one. Second, any of the top teams down to West Virginia could beat Oregon. Oklahoma has already made a living out of slapping the Ducks around, so they really should let some other teams get in on the fun in the Rose Bowl. That is if lowly Arizona doesn't jump up and beat you.

Will you be this talkative after the game? Or will you be reporting others for saying anything back to you. You can't have it both ways Brucie!

Huh??? Playing Oregon is LSU's only shot at the title. What have you been smoking?

I don't think it will be Oregon and LSU in championship game anyway. A team from the Big 12 will probably end up there. Assuming KU, OU and MU all win this week (favorites). KU and MU play the next week (3 v. 5) If KU wins that alone will probably leapfrog them over Oregon. If MU wins then OU and MU will move up. They then play the next week in the big 12 championship. I think the strength of schedule in the last 2 weeks favors the Big 12 champion climbing over Oregon. Even MU can make it to the championship game if they beat KU and OU in consecutive weeks.

Starting to belly ache a little early aren't you? The ducks and the tigers have to win out and then we'll talk about what happens next.

Poor Oregon. Voters will pick Oklahoma over Oregon to go the the Championship Game. Why you ask? He's just some OU Fan talking ****, you say. No. Listen to this:

OU has beaten current top-5 team Missouri. OU will play top-5 team Kansas in the Big 12 Championship Game. If they win that game, that is 2 big wins over top 5 teams.

Oregon has lost to #6 Cal, and beat highly over ranked #4 Arizona State. Perhaps their signature win was against USC, who is having a down year. For these reasons alone OU will be picked above Oregon.

But wait, let us recall last year. A very controversial (and later ruled illegal) On-Side kick in the Oregon-Oklahoma game last year cost Oklahoma its Championship dreams. Pollsters will not have forgotten this, and will give an intangible boost to Oklahoma over the Ducks in the BCS.

LSU-Oklahoma Rematch will provide for an excellent Championship Game, as both teams have big wins and credentials. I do not see either team pulling an Ohio State and curling up into a little ball in the Championship Game.

You can bet on this.

This has got to be the MOST ridiculous question I have ever heard. LSU is #1 and will be in the BCSCG if they run the table and beat Ole Miss, Arkansas and whomever in the SEC championship because they deserve to be, not because some big 12 team helped them. If Oregon wins outright they will be there too. Seems to me you are scared to face LSU.

But if LSU stumbles, who will save Oregon from getting crushed by a Big 12 team in the Championship game? I somehow doubt the crew that gave Oregon the game against Oklahoma last year will be working the national championship game.
