Could the BCS champion not play in the championship game ? What if the #1 and #2 teams played and looked like total &*$@, and the winner was a 1 loss team? And what if the #3 team, undefeated, played an absolute perfect game blowing out their opponent ? Could the #3 team be declared #1 ? Could their bcs % points be high enough ? No, I am not a Louisville fan. Buckeyes all the way !!! I was lazy and didn't look the rules up. I was relying on the audience. Since the BCS rankings take into consideration the national rankings, would it be possible for #3 to move to #1 and throw the BCS out of whack ? |

The AP poll could pick another winner but if there is only one undefeated team left after the bowls I doubt they would. The Coaches Poll is bound by contract crown the BCS champ game winner #1. |

dude if u are a luisville fan i hope they dont make it they PLAY IN THE BIG EAST THEY SHOULDNT HAVE A BOWL BID THIS WOULD BE A GOOD GAME No #1 & #2 have a huge lead over #3, as far as BCS points. #3 isn't even in the same league and if they remain undefeated, the Championship Game won't be worth watching. Nov. 18th will be the biggest game of the year. Sorry, but no. The BCS only determines who gets into the championship game; there is no ranking system after that. The winner of the championship game on January 8 is the champion, no matter what the #3 team does. it will never happen that is whi 1 & 2 play each other to determan the champ No but don't forget about when LSU won the championship game against OU, and USC somehow became co-champions. |
