| Who else is relieved that the Heisman voters weren't blinded by Notre Dame green and didn't hand it to Quinn? |

It's bad enough Notre Dame shamelessly received a BCS bowl bid. . . but if Brady (more overated than the team he plays on) Quinn won the Heismann then things would have hit rock bottom!!!! Neither Notre Dame being in the BCS bowl game or Quinn being at the Heisman presentation can be justified. . . . . |

i'm definitely relieved cuz i was worried about someting like that, but i'm still pissed he was even invited to the ceremony. he gets way too much credit just because he's on ND. he sucked against good teams and did good against bad teams, big deal. darren mcfadden is the most talented player in the nation and he woulda got my vote. i'm okay with smith winning it tho as long as quinn didn't get it. irish also shouldn't have gotten to play in the sugar bowl. thye should be in the compuserve bowl. i just made that bowl up that's how much they don't deserve to be in a good bowl. they played 2 good teams and got abused by both. any team who's most impressive victories were agaisnt georgia tech and ucla do not deserve to come anywhere near a bcs game. college football sucks. |

Me! I'm so happy Troy Smith won it! And I totally cried like a little girl when he won! are you kidding me? he had more attempts, completions, touchdowns, and nearly 1000 more passing yrds that troy smith....no way is that overrated? what do u want him to do? is it his fault that he goes to the most storied and succesful schoolin history? no, its not, he just happens to be a great qb that nobody gives credit to. Man don't expect troy smith to do so good in the nfl. are you a jerk off? brady quinn is not overrated. he just hasn't lived up to the expectations that everyone put on him at the beginning of the year. you think it isn't hard to live up to the hype while you have the whole college football world watching every pass you throw, every incompletion you make? in college FB, there's nothing more nerve-wracking than being the starting QB for a historical program like Notre Dame. he's been somewhat disappointing because he failed to come through against the only top teams he's played all season. but he is still a great qb who is the number one NFL prospect, yes, higher than troy smith (who deserved the heisman). he's the prototypical pro qb and is gonna be a top three pick. troy smith will likely be a second rounder. because in the NFL, based on history, heisman's mean nothing. I'm sick of Notre Dame haters..... i honestlly believe brady deserved to be at the heisman ceremony and he actually desrved to win the award aswell. he had better numbers and a tuffer schedule. the big 10 was terrible this year and ohio state ended uop having a pretty week non confrence schedule aswell I totally agree with Crayboy. OSU played a weaker schedule then ND??? Please look at their schedules and tell me who's was tougher? Oh and in the big games who choked? It sure wasn't Troy Smith. Einstein, Well Quinn deserved it more than Troy. Troy had 5 less TD passes and the same amount of picks. He also had close to 75 less yards per game compared to Quinn. However, Darren McFadden should have won it. He did as well as he could in the best defensive conference in the nation. |
