| Who do you think the best college qb will be this year and why? |

Troy Smith. He can run, he has a cannon for an arm. He is surrounded by All-American talent at every position. Don't believe the Quinn hype. Notre Dame doesn't play anybody who can play defense. How did he look against Ohio State last year? Exactly. |

brady quinn because if it weren't for the greats last year he would have won heisman and this year he will do even better. i am a texas fan btw. Brady Quin he has very good expirence in the big games like lets say vs USC or a BCS. HE will win the hisemen Brady Quinn. Last year you could see the big improvement in his game learning from Charlie Weis, and with the experience he gained last year, he will be that much better this year. I believe Brian Brohm will have the best year out of all the top QB's this year. He just keeps blossoming every year and he's one of the more accurate passers in the nation. He has a nice supporting cast, and he's only a junior and with another big season he'll be the #1 QB in the country if he returns for his senior year. I'd say Troy Smith because he can throw, he can run, and he can throw on the run (something not a lot of scramblers can do) thier offense looks great they have good blocking, good rushing, and good recieveing, which will make thier offense wide open they just need to stop fumbling the ball Quinn or Smith from Ohio State Chad Henne, excellent player who was a true freshamn, hes on the hesiamn watch. The question of being the 'best' QB is necessarily an ambiguous one as you have to establish uniform, measurable criteria by which to compare QBs. I'm going to go ahead and base my evaluation of a QB on a combination of statistics, leadership, and how good his team is. A QB can be an excellent athlete and leader, but it's difficult to regard him as being good if he's on a sub-.500 team. |
