Lone loss: Even

Middle of the schedule: Slight edge to the LSU. Barely.
Oregon: Houston, Fresno State, Arizona,
LSU: Alabama (they beat Houston by the skin of their teeth, at home), S. Carolina,

Bottom of the schedule: Edge to Oregon (Oregon played real university's and everything)
Oregon: Washington, Washington St., Stanford
LSU: Ole Miss, Tulane, La. Tech, Miss. St., Middle Tenn. St

There you go...LSU's a little stronger in the middle of their schedule, but horrible at the bottom. They've basically had six weeks off...OFF this season. Oregon's had 3.

Oregon is a much better #1 Pick and it will show. Sure the tigers played six ranked teams, but how quality was their rankings? SEC Teams, Over rated......Whats the difference? Illinois? Michigan? LSU is sub Par and Oregon can play Better, although it appears they had ducks SH!T all over their shoulderpads.

I have to agree with all the polls that it is LSU. If Kansas finishes undefeated then they deserve to be in the title game, and will be, but right now I wouldn't put them at #1.

Well by the only measure that matters to most teams, LSU is.
But time will tell. The top 8 all have games that they could lose yet two of the teams ranked 3-5 WILL lose as they are scheduled to play a little mini-tourni to get out of the Big 12. It will be a mad scramble for next couple of weeks

Bryan,,, bah humbug on LSU's tougher schedule,,, their non conference opponents were no different than anyone elses...they only played one BCS conf opponent outside their conference... Oregon also did and soundly beat a team that is now 8-3 and a very good football team...
