Any way you structure it will still be criticized, I think the most exciting whould be an 8 team tourney (the eight BCS teams) but who knows. BCS is a crock of crap. It would help alot if you had large schools play large schools out of conference. More ohio state v. Texas and ND vs USC match ups, that would lead to less unbeaten teams.

I would like to see a 12 team playoff, top 4 get a bye through the first round. Nobody will ever be happy no matter what they do.

The NCAA tourney has 65 teams, and people are still pissed off if their team is left out.

32 team playoff system (top 25 and the 7 best after that) with 7 of the bowl games being the semi-finals, finals and championship games. The bowl games would rotate who has the championship game like they do now.
