Tim Brando. brent musberger or whatever his name is Jim Fyffe.. sadly he passed away at the end of the 2003 season and missed Auburn's 14-0 season.. still one of the most recognizable voices in college football with the "Touchdown Auburn" call he was famous for Joe Starkey
THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD! THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD!
No, I wasn't alive for that one, I'm just a 9ers fan and I've listened to him for years on internet radio. No one comes close to him in my (biased) opinion.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=WgZvkB_i0xc My favorite announcer is Keith Jackson. He used to call all the games for ABC sports in College Football. He was notorious for doing some great commentary during one of the biggest rivalries in all of College Football between Michigan and Ohio State. He even coined the nickname for Michigan Stadium--The Big House! His last game was in 2006 featuring Texas vs. USC in the Rose Bowl for the National Championship.
"Whoa, nellie!" Former University of Tennessee announcer John Ward's "Give Him Six" calls will forever be a part of my fondest Tennessee memories....... mick hubert

''He's running over people'' Herschel Walker TD run at Tennessee (1980)
''We just stepped on their face with a hobnailed boot and broke their nose'' David Greene TD pass to Veron Haynes at Tennessee (2001)
''Lindsay Scott! Lindsay Scott!'' Buck Belue TD pass to Lindsay Scott against Florida (1980)
Game: Georgia vs. Tennessee, 1980
Score: GEORGIA 16, TENNESSEE 15
Bulldog fans see freshman Herschel Walker for the first time:
Tennessee leading 15-2, the crowd roaring against Georgia trying to make them drop it so they can't hear. We hand it off to Herschel, there's a hole, 5, 10, 12, he's running over people! Oh, you Herschel Walker! My God almighty, he ran right through two men, Herschel ran right over two men, they had him dead away inside the 9. Herschel Walker went 16 yards, he drove right over those orange shirts, just driving and running with those big thighs. My God, a freshman!" Howard Cosell(?spelling), but I'm not sure if he did college football...Is that answer aging me? ;) Brynt Gumble
