Agricultural and Mechanical. It used to be just engineering and aggricultural school. Almost every state has an A&M school. Oklahoma st used to be oklahoma A&M. I was always told that it stood for Agriculture and Maritime. Can't say that with 100% confidence, though. It stands for agricultural and mechanical I am student at A&M and I am quite sure of the answer
