i've often thought that college football is much better than pro in so many ways... so i devised reasons as to why, i hope you like them.

1. So much pressure is put into 1 game in college football, 1 loss ruins a season, the same can be accounted for the 2nd and 3rd loss. With so many divisions and so many teams in college football you HAVE to play to be number 1, its not okay to have 3-4 losses as a top teir program, therefore the games are much more exciting.

2. Kids are not getting paid to play, but they're playing to get paid more, later. If they want to max out their checks in pro they better give 120% in college, and make sure they do what it takes to win. In pros they are already getting paid, they lose, no big deal their contract is still the same for the next 4 years... they don't have the same intesnity as a 20 yr old aspiring college athlete.

3. The matchups are so much different, even though college schedules are shorter than pros, and there are no playoffs. Every week is playing a completely different beast (especially true in the SEC) film must be watched to win. In pros its just more of the same team every week

Of course most of us love college football...

I AM! Especially the OU Sooners. But all Big 12 teams. Even SEC, Pac-10, Big 10, ACC. Heck, I like it all.

The games are sooo much better because most of the fans have something invested in their team (they are or have attended University there). I think that is what makes College ball so enjoyable the fans can feel a real connection with their team. Heck I have even had classes with some of LSU's players. (past not current)

ME I love it too. All Saturday long i watch college football, and in the moring before the games i watch college gameday.
