| College playoff people, question? |
|
Tonights game between the Bills and Cowboys would have been a huge deal if it were in college, possibly propelling Dallas to a national championship. A loss and they would have been out. In the pros, it's just another game. Why do you want this for college football? For the record, I am a fan of the and one scenario. I could even stand a 4 teamer. 8, and I would still be a fan. 16 and all I would watch is the pros. |

Easy answer to me. So we don't have an undefeated team and a team with 1 loss playing for the national championship, while the #3 and/or #4 teams are also undefeated. Take the top 8 or 16 and do a playoff. Winner takes all, and no excuses about strength of schedule and all the other BCS computer nonsense. |

Apples and oranges my friend! I kind of like the fact that college teams have to 'man up' every single week. Its like a season long playoff system. Though when all is said and done at the end of the season, it does get a little wacky. Maybe a four team playoff could help a little while still keeping emphasis on the regular season games. Your question certainly does have a lot of "ifs" in it. If this, if that, blah blah blah blah.... |
