Not much and I felt that way about him before the dog fighting allegations. The judicial system in this country has always given athletes preferential treatment. I cannot imagine him doing any time. Now I believe Goodell will suspend him maybe half a season for lying. Vick should have consulted Barry Bonds before talking to Goodell to get some professional advice on how to play dumb and get away with it.
I just hope when Atlanta plays their away games that the home team will play 'Who let the dogs out' as loud as they can when the Dirty Birds take the field.

and he needs to be locked up. I kinda am getting tired of all these pro athletes and I believe they need to stop paying them the amount of money they are getting. It creates a false belief in young kids that if they go pro that they have given something to the world. It is all about economics. There is an old saying that you can take a guy out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the guy. Plain and simple these young men grow up with very little, work hard at a GAME, as a means to achieve wealth. They play through grade and high school in order to get a shot at the collegaite level. Education is an after thought at the point these kids start to be ranked nationally. Then they make it to a College Campus on which they are treated like Kings. (Once again Education is an after thought). They play hard for that opportunity to go pro. Once they get paid millions and are in the public's eye the same mentality they had when they were broke starts to resurface.

think about it had Mike Vick been some regular guy on the street orchastrating dog fights we wouldn't be seeing any of this on the news. But the Million dollar MIke Vick, with the same mentality has us answering questions like this. These guys are inmature young men that have never grown up out of their "hood mentality". he's done for the season whether it be suspension or paid time off...at the very least...he's a distraction to the team right now, as far as being a good QB...he's as good as being a QB as Antwan Randel El was/is...they both play better at other positions...

I don't even think this is about animal cruelty. First of all i don't condone any acts of animal cruelty, but if we're going to look down and prosecute individuals that participate in dog fighting should we also crack down on other acts of animal cruelty? I mean why is it perfectly legal to go deer hunting and kill innocent animals for entertainment but, when a high profile African American athlete is indicted for his alleged involvement in dog fighting it's all of a sudden a crime. Is deer hunting not animal cruelty? Who are we to pass judgement, because no one here or any where has a pefect pass. Only God can judge.
