Shouldn't the Pats have received a bigger punishment?

I will level with you, I don't like the New England Patriots. Not because they always win, but because they seem to have this cocky smugness to them. They are so holier-than-thou, and they are the NFL's golden boys. I just think maybe that win over the Jets should have been forfeited. Also, how many of their other games do you think they've won by cheating?

Linkinpark, or whatever you call yourself, don't call me a dumbass. I understand you're on the defensive, because your team are a bunch of sneaky, underhanded cheaters, and all their bulls**t Super Bowl wins were probably done with the help of a video camera, but take it easy. Thanks for answering, b***h.

Probably many.Yes they should be made to forfeit the win over the Jets. I agree the punishment was much too light for what was done. It only takes a few plays in many games to break it open for one team. The Pats are cheaters. All the "success" of this team now must be questioned. Belicheat was a miserable failure at Cleveland who became a "genius" at NE. How much of this "genius" was really just foreknowledge of the opponents signals and alignments?

im a chiefs fan but im backing the pats
Why does it matter when NE does it but when someone else does is ehh?

It would be impossible. THis ain't college. 500,000 dollars is a high as it gets.

I think you're a plain dumb *** hater. So what If they are NFL "Golden boys" There always people who hate on the good team.

No they don't deserve to get a bigger punishment. Lets see, Bilicheck gets $500k fined. And 1 of their draft pick. And 2 and 3 draft pick if they go into the playoffs. I think that is a good punishment for only 1 QUARTER OF SPYING.

If it was the whole game, I would say suspension.

The win at the jets should NOT be forfeited, since the pats never recieved the tape to begin with. Face it, that was a clean win; even the comissioner said so. And the half-million dollar slap to B.B face hasta hurt. Remember that coaches usually dont make more than star players. And losing that probablr first round pick will also hurt. Badly. I think the punishment is fine, considering the fact that cheating has always gone on in the NFL. And what smugness are you talking about? How do they seem holier than thou? Face it, your jealous. Just admit it. JEALOUSSS

" I am quite jealous, because when my teams win, they win the RIGHT way" You know that made no sense whatsoever?

Nope I think that $750,000 in fines and a probable first round draft pick fits the crime. It will definitely work as it was designed and work as a deterrent. That lost draft pick will be felt for years to come.

maybe not the pats as a team, but i think belicheat should have gotten suspended. how does a quarterback coach (wilson) get suspended for taking HGH for medical reasons, that by in no way will give his team an advantage, get suspended and belicheat doesn't? wilson was fined $100,000, a third of his annual salary, compared to $500,000, estimated 1/12th of belicheat's. something isn't right there.
