Is anyone else tired of hearing about Mike Vick Dogfighting?
I am, the guy screwed up big time, let him serve his sentence and get on with life. The media needs to quit speculating about his career and let the NFL and the individual teams decide. There are people who have committed crimes just as bad and have very good jobs, why shouldnt he be able to work after time is served.

drug dealers. what vick did was awful, but the drugs the dealers sell kill or at the very least destroy the lives of people. I'm all for animal rights, but killing humans is far worse than killing dogs.

I'm not an animals rights person, but I do believe that in order to do what he did, he had to take some pleasure in harming the animals. That to me is the issue here. He's a sick jerk.

Michael Vick is worse--If people don't choose to buy the drugs and do the drugs that would take care of the drug dealer-- the dogs that Michael Vick abused and killed had no choice.

He makes me completely sick and should be punished to the max of the law. after all he is a role model for our children. My eight year old nephew had a lifelike poster of him in his bedroom and he wants it to come down now. sad indeed but at least his parents were smart enough to explain why and what he had associated himself with. A lot of parents have not and think it is ok.He should never be able to play NFL football again.

He got caught and he will do the amount of time stipulated by our legal system. If he got caught dealing yayo to Atlanta residents, he would be doing jail time for that.

How can you compare these two? I am getting kind of tired about hearing about it, but he got caught, he's going to serve his time. His career will probably end up like Ricky Williams, still a good player, but a lot of teams probably won't give him the time of day.

Don't forget that this whole thing started with Vick's cousin's drug arrest! He listed his address as Vick's house where they found the dog fight evidence. This whole thing would not be half as big if so many idiots hadn't come out in support of Vick (making it a racial issue).

This isn't an either/or, both are bad and neither is worse. Crime is crime no matter what form it takes.

He should be able to work after his time is served but not as a person who is supossed to be a role model. He has NO ethics and evidently niether does any of his brothers. He had an obligation to his family, friends and US the fans, co-workers, bosses,etc... HE FAILED!!!! Work like all the other convicts who served thier time for a hell of alot less money. Still more money than my HONEST *** MAKES.
