I think it is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what should happen to him. The NFL has sufficient grounds to permanently banish him from the league, and I hope they do so.

I think what he did was horrible. Bankrolling a dog fighting operation and killing 7-8 dogs that didn't meet their 'requirements'? That's abhorrent.

I think its retarded. Some people treat animals way better than they would treat any person. Like that sports caster said, an athlete can be abusive to his wife, or kids, carry drugs and guns, rob someone, and a lot of other things worse than dog fighting and just be suspended a couple games or maybe a season. Activists are just trying to make an example of him and all the politicians just want to get votes out of it (keep in mind, i dont condone dog fighting, i just dont think he should be banned for life over it).
