Baltimore, Chicago, New England PATS,BEARS,RAVENS Chicago Bears
Baltimore Ravens
New England Patriots Bears number one. They have a great defense returning. Lance Briggs is going to play. They added a veteran Saftey in Adam Archuleta. He and Mike Brown will be a deadly duo as safties. THey added Darwin Walker who is way better then Tank. Walker and Harris will be deadly in the middle of a great defensive line. Urlacher is a beast. Tillman Vasher and Manning are the TRIPLE tandent in The League. Mark Anderson had 12 sacks as a back up he is now a starter Alex Brown ANd Agunleye both can be probowlers are slugging it out for the othe end spot
Bear back to the Bowl in 2007 - 2008 season
1. Chicago Bears
2. Baltimore Ravens
3. Denver Broncos
4. carolina panthers
Oakland defense is great. There offense is the one who allows the points. If you know NFL then you know Im right. Ravens, Patriots, Cowboys Baltimore and the Bears are absolutely the top 2... the third is more debatable... I would go with the Chargers Bears Patriots Ravens 1. Ravens - Ray lewis... i mean come on he's a beast
2. Bears - Urlacher is just as bad as Ray
3. Cowboys - big years coming up for several players... (Ware, Williams, Newman, and dont forget the new rookie Spencer) Ravens
Bears
Patriots
Panthers (Quality pass rush)
Oakland (Quality run stop) this year
San Deigo
Baltimore
Chicago Ravens # 1 D 1A - Baltimore
1B - Chicago
3 - San Diego Baltimore - linebackers getting old but secondary is fantastic. Excellent coaching.
Chicago - No real weaknesses especially when Harris and Brown return
Dallas - Pass rush will be devastating, improved secondary
Near misses:
New England - getting too old and injury prone. Thomas is an excellent addition though.
Denver - Question marks on the line. Wonderful secondary.
Carolina - Never seems to play to their potential which could be a coaching problem.
Philadelphia - Injury prone
Jacksonville - always excellent but getting a little old.
Minnesota - very stout against the run, terrible against the pass
Oakland - excellent against the pass, poor against the run
San Diego - good against the run. poor against the pass. Pass rush will not be as effective as in the past. bears, ravens, panthers Actually people would be surprised to find out that Balimore, Jacksonville, and Oakland lead the league in overall defense last year. 1.Bears - urlacher is all u really need
2.Ravens - Very good D
3.Patriots - Altough getting pretty old 1. Ravens
2. Patriots/ Jaguars
3. Raiders 1. Cowboys: The Cowboys defense has already shown to be dominant in the preseason. They have Greg Ellis, Terence Newman, DeMarcus Ware, Roy Williams, Akin Ayodele, and Ken Hamlin, and Jason Ferguson. Dallas will rise up once again like the Aikman, Smith, and Irving Cowboys of the 90s.
2.Ravens: Know over the past couple of years for defense, The Ravens will have one of the best, not the best, but still great. I would have ranked them at No.1 but the loss of Thomas to the Patriots hurts them.
3.Bears: The Bears had the best defense in the league last year, but after the holdout of Lance Briggs, I don't expect the effort out of the Bears like last year. Ravens, Bronco's and this year da Colt's. 1 SAN DIEGO SUPER CHARGERS
2 SAN DIEGO SUPER CHARGERS
3 SAN DIEGO SUPER CHARGERS
MERRIMAN---NUFF SAID 1. Bears
2. Ravens
3. Cowboys
