Does anyone like American football here in England? I can't be the only one. What do you think of it...like it...hate it...tell me why. (By the way, i'm American)

Get that rubbish 'sport' out of my country. Load of pufters in armour. How the hell can you call it footbal when you use your hands 99% of the time?!! Dumb game, should stay in the dumb country it came from.

I like NFL, but I think it was a big mistake putting the game in England up against the Liverpool v Arsenal football match. I think the NFL game probably lost a lot of viewers because of that.

Hated it. What a sloppy game. Giants changing cleats, just like a certain game from long ago against the (then Baltimore) Colts. That was fun.
And that freaky robot thing? Didn't look anything like Jason Taylor.

If I could have watched it I might have a better Idea of how it went (had the Detroit-Chicago game on locally), but the general consensus seems to be it was a terrible, sloppily played game(the turf not being the proper American Football turf didn't help). I just wish the locals in England would have gotten to see a decent game. Unfortunately, I don't know if that will ever happen unless the NFL expands to overseas.

The game was an away game for the Giants, and nobody cares about the 0-999999 Dolphins. Had they thrown next weeks game of New England(8-0) vs. Indianapolis (7-0) over there, replaced the turf, and played indoors or when it wasn't raining, the game would surely be a far better product to show off(though I personally think the Pats will Steamroll the Colts ;p). The problem then would be the local fan base in Indianapolis not getting the opportunity to attend what some expect to be the game to end all games. (lol overhyped much?)

Think that it was cool to watch.

Did anyone in the UK watch it?
I know it's stupid but having that game played at Wembley did make me kind of angry in an instinctive way.
Pragmatically, though Wembley management can do what they like. I know pro-wrestling gets big audiences in UK so I shouldn't be surprised...........just disappointed.
