What was the best NFL game ever played?

What sticks out in your mind?
or what would be?

Ooooh, thats a pretty good one. How about that Buffalo Bills playoff game agaist the Oilers when they came back from like 30 points in the 2nd half. Maybe the Titans/Rams super bowl, or the Patriots/Rams super bowl. Maybe the Immaculate reception Steelers game. The niners and Cowboys have played some beauties. There are many. I'm only 30 though, so anything before about 1982 starts to really escape me.

Super Bowl XXVII
1 2 3 4 Total
Bills 7 3 7 0 17
Cowboys 14 14 3 21 52

The cowboys come back from the depths of worst run of seasons in cowboys fabled history. From 66 to 85 we made the playoffs 18 out of 20 seasons. Then:
1986 7-9
1987 7-8
1988 3-13
1989 1-15
1990 7-9
1991 11-5 (but losing Aikman weeks before playoffs and watching the Beuerlein led Cowboys being smashed by the Sanders led Lions)
The resurrection of the Dallas Cowboys was complete.
It is interesting to note the similar ways that the current team has to this. They have had a few losing seasons (with a couple of moderate ones thrown in the mix) before losing an early playoff game as they did in 1991. Can this be 1992 all over again?

The 1982 playoff game between the Dolphins and Chargers. Hands down one of the best games ever played.

I'll take the Rams over the Titans in the Super Bowl. How many games do you see coming down to the final play, and then on that play the offense executes the play well, but comes up 1 yard short......Simply amazing

1967 championship game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, aka the Ice Bowl.

the best game for me (bears fan) was the comeback against the cardinals.

New England vs Miami 2007

For me, it has to be the Patriots "Snowbowl" game...

Packers vs Cowboys ice bowl

Brett Favre's miracle game the Monday after his father passed away

The 1992 NFC Championship game with ( 13-3 ) Dallas vs.
( 14-2 ) San Francisco was amazing. The game had so many hall of famer's in it. It was a classic battle.

Aikman vs. Young ( Montanta was on the side lines )
Irvin vs. Rice
Emmitt Smith

I would say the best as far as enternaining goes, it would have to be in 2005 when green bay played the colts during the reg. season. It was score after score til the end. But the best playoff game would have to be the Bills come back against the oilers with back up quarterback Frank Reich leading the way.

Damn this is a tuffy, been so many. Hard to choose. Being a cowboys fan, one sticks out (OUT OF MANY) In the 70's on THANKSGIVING DAY, Rodger Staubach goes down and They bring in Clint Longley, I think the Boys were down by 28 points, smoething like that. Longley brings them back and wins the game. (goes down as one of the best comebacks in cowboy lore)...hmm that was Against the Redskins...Thanksgiving comin up and they have the Skins on the sunday before....this week end....go boys!!!!!!
