Is it no one wants to see reptiles passing out concussions?

No very good reason. Birds and mammals are very popular, but reptiles are sadly underrepresented. No taxation without representation! Errr... wait...

Anyway, I would definitely buy tickets to see, say, the San Diego Gila Monsters or the Oakland Spitting Cobras. Especially if the teams had live mascots like some college football teams have.

Team names are up to the owners of thoes teams. I guess no one wants to be know as the alagators, or pythons, or crocs, or lizards. To many other names that sound better

I dunno, but I think the Cards should consider a name change, the Vipers, the Sidewinders, not the diamondbacks cuz that's taken. the Rattlers maybe. Just something more desert-ish.
