| Can you give a "LEGIT" reason as to why you dislike that certain NFL team so much? |

I'm only asking because a lot of you seem to be bandwagon haters that don't have a clue as to why you "so called" dislike certain teams. All very good answers and not childish ones. |

The Philadelphia Eagles. |

I dislike certain teams because its my right. I wouldnt even dislike any team except the Steelers, if it were not for that teams fans. The only team that I have constantly hated throughout my entire time as a football fan has been the 49ers. That's because I'm a Cowboys fan. I always hated facing them, because they were the one team I was never sure how the game was going to end. It's different right now, because the 49ers are in the dump, but I know they will be back sooner or later. The Cleveland Browns Truthfully I dislike the Eagles. I live in Texas and I hate the Dallas Cowboys because when i was younger my Dad and my brothers would always rub it in my face when Green Bay would lose to them in the playoffs. Now i hate that they have so many bandwagon fans. They walk around wearing their T.O. jersey but he's the only one they can name on the roster. And the media is so biased toward them too. After last year when they made the playoffs for the first time in like 10 years everyone got off the Patriots bandwagon and back onto Dallas'. Now the "America's Team" label has come back to them. It's very hypocritical and annoying. I dislike my division rivals the most....Eagles,Redskins and Giants...They have a big say in your playoff run 6 games vs. your division every year.... as a homegrown 9ers fan, youre supposed to hate the cowboys since they were our biggest rivals in the 80s-90s. and youre supposed to hate the pack since favre always killed the 9ers. however the one team i hate the most are the cardinals. they are our divisional rival first of all, and i division games are the most important games. but i also hate them because they always say theyre going to be good, this is our break out year, watch out for the cardinals, but every year they suck. they were supposed to have a breakout year 5 years ago. i cant stand them or their bandwagon fans. you look at their stadium now, its pretty full, but where were they before then? before the new stadium was built? I'm a Steelers fan, since I was a kid in the 70's. I hate the Cowboys. That was the rivalry back then. I don't like the Denver Broncos because of their fans and "classy" organization. I'm a huge Jake Plummer fan and was absolutely disgusted with the way that organization and the FANS just completely turned on him last season and pretty much forced him into retirement. In 2005 Jake Plummer was a GOD in Denver, he only threw 7 interceptions in the entire season, took Denver to a 13-3 record (undefeated at home), and led them to the AFC championship where the TEAM fell apart. We all know the quarterback gets all the blame no matter what but they literally threw it all on his shoulders, yeah he fumbled 4 times but what did the defense to to stop Pittsburgh's offense? How productive were Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell on the ground? How many times would Plummer have fumbled had the offensive line given him more than 2 seconds to find an open receiver? Whatever, come draft time Shannahan uses his first pick on a kid named Jay Cutler out of Vanderbilt. Plummer begins the season as the starter and begins the march once again putting the team on the path to a playoff berth... once again he is a hero in Denver. A few things go wrong and Plummer has a couple bad games (against really good teams), suddenly the fans turn on him again and Shannahan benches him and starts a ROOKIE when they are still in playoff contention. Denver then decided to trade Plummer to Tampa Bay where he didn't want to play in which resulted in his retirement when he was still in his prime. The Dallas Cowboys (close 2nd are Steelers/Redskins) I dislike the other teams in the NFC east because they are rivals. I dislike the Pats not so much for cheating, but for Bellichiks arrogance after the fact. I'm a lifelong Pats fan...originally from Boston...I hate the Colts because its our arch rival...We have to...and its the best rivalry in the NFL at the moment... As a loooong time Green Bay Packers fan I can tell you that I don't hate teams. I hate losing to the Bears because their fans are jacka**es and try to rub it in. Most people hate teams because they are jealous of another team's success. I don't like it when a team drafts talented individuals, but poor characters because it is an honor and a privilidge to play in the NFL and most fans get really upset when a player's off field conduct or on field antics overshadow the game itself. Teams filled with players that are overpaid, overhyped, vs. teams w. players that stick together and play for the love of the game. Brett Favre still loves the game and his team loves him and so does much of football america, even anti-Packer fans. Those that don't are jealous. Period. I dislike the Patriots more than any other team in the league, for the following reasons: The only legitimate reason to hate another team is if they are the primary rival of your favorite team. Certain players on teams make me hate the team they either play for or they once played for. For example, I live in Tampa, but I don't like Tampa Bay, all because of Warren Sapp. A few years ago, before I got stationed here, that one player did something I didn't like. Don't remember what it was, but that made me not like the team. Every game they play, I root for the other team. This one time the Dallas Cowboys bus broke down in front of my house and to pass the time they built me a fence. At the time I thought that was awfully nice of them, but then the fence was crooked. When I went to fix it I amazingly quickly discovered for no reason whatsoever they had planted landmines all over my yard- AHOLES!! So now I have no legs and no dog and no desire to go in my yard again. They are meanie heads, I will certainly not root for them anytime soon. The RAIDERS!!!!!! I used to hate the Steelers because I grew up a Dallas fan. I lived in PA when the steelers beat us in '76 superbowl. I actually pull for them sometimes now. I still hate the eagles though. The Atlanta Falcons. I'm a Patriots fan.... I dislike the Jets.... nuff said... Dallas Cryboys. The Atlanta Falcons, I'm a Saints fan and they are our biggest rivals. |
