What is wrong with the picture of the NFL folding NFL Europa and trying to start up something in China...WTF? Why is the NFL being stupid in doing this to basically their farm teams?

They're stupid, to tell you.
They say they're losing 32M in money for the league, heck, 32 Million in the NFL is like nothing. There are players whose bonus money is over 32 M!!!
Thats really a mistake, like you said, NFL europe is like a farm team, and it really gives young talent a place to train. Without it, all those players would have been cut and wont have an opportunity to have NFL experience. I have loved NFL europe for quite a while now, and I believe they should expand NFL europe to other countries, like England or France or something. It gives young players invaluable experiences. Really a big mistake.

I personally believe ,that by shutting down NFL Europe , they are cutting "small " money and negotiating for "BIG" money with regular season games abroad . The preseason game in China was postponed .....$$$$$$$$$$

I am still just blown away by this. It is especially hard considering that they just killed it with no plan to replace it with anything right now?

I was a huge fan and actually got together with over 60 plus fans to watch the games together.

In order to cut costs, the NFL had to fold their development leauge in Europe to concentrate on playing some of the leauge's regular season games overseas starting with a regular season game to be played October 28th at Wembley Stadium between the Giants & the Dolphins.

For your information, there was supposed to be a preseason game scheduled in Beijing, China in August between the Seahawks & the Patriots, but that game is postponed until 2009.
