LSU will win, and not because Brady Quinn is a choker, or because they never win bowl games. Not because they are underdogs, and everybody loves an underdog winning. ND loses this game because:

The best 2 teams they played this year have 1 thing in common (Defense) they both play defense very well!
Michigan #5 overall defense in the country
USC #20 overall defense in the country

Not exactly good showings! Why does this matter, because LSU's defense is ranked #3 in the country!

Notre Dame is a very good team with great skill and good poise, they just aren't a very good match for good defensive teams! That being said if they do pull it off it will be on the genius of Charlie Weis!

LSU will win. It's a home game for them and they were the best team in the SEC after losing to Auburn.

Notre Dame is one of the best college football programs but they do have a history of choking. Additionally, they have not played anyone of note besides USC (and they got destroyed in that game) Also, Michigan killed them IN SOUTH BEND!

Brady Quinn has not really shown me anything that I believe makes him #1 overall caliber.

I think it will be a tie based on the fight for field position. I don't see either team breaking the 34 yard line. If LSU wins then everyone will be all like I told you so... Notre Dame was overrated and Weis will leave for the arizona cardinals where matt leinart will light it up for the next 10 years. If ND wins then everyone is going to cry and say that the game was fixed and that the refs are ND alums and that ND sucks and no matter what ND does everyone will hate them and ND sucks.
