i think the choices would be out of:

1. highest ranked big 12: Missouri/Kansas winner or loser, Texas
2. Highest Ranked ACC ie Acc winer + va tech if they don't win
3. Hawaii
4. USC arizona state loser
5. Michigan ohio state loser only if michigan wins

the loser of kansas missouri might be ranked higher if the winner loses to oklahoma

I don't know what the final result will be here. . . . But I do know that Notre Dame has bent over this year and had their slot filled repeatedly. . . deep. . and HARD!! I LOVE IT!!!

For the National Title game, you have to put the unbeaten teams in. Assuming that Kansas and Hawaii stay undefeated (if one or the other loses, we can debate whether LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma etc. deserves a shot).

So, that means:

National championship: Hawaii VS Kansas
Rose Bowl: Big 10 Champion (Ohio State/Michigan) VS Pac-10 Champion (Oregon, as they beat both Arizona State and USC)
Orange Bowl: ACC Champion (Clemson-Boston College winner or Virginia-Virginia Tech winner depending on which wins the ACC Title game) VS At-Large (Big East Champion West Virginia or Connecticut)
Fiesta Bowl: At-Large (Big 12 South Champion Oklahoma VS At-Large (SEC Title Game loser) (Big 12 champion Kansas would be in National Title game)
Sugar Bowl: SEC Champion (LSU unless they lose the SEC Championship game) VS At-Large (Texas)

As long as Hawaii and Kansas are unbeaten, no 1 loss team has any right to claim to be in the National Title picture and the polls should reflect that.

For the national title game I am going to say it will be LSU and Oregon. Those teams have the best chance right know to see the national title game. Since Ohio State was beat yesterday by illinos they will not be making a repeat this year.
