the sugar Bowl gets first pick for losing LSU but would that pick count for taking Georgia? or is that automatic? after that pick Sugar Bowl picks last.

hey big east7: i would not call 38-35 a 'thrashing'. i'd say it was more like WVU got spotted 3 touchdowns and needed a fake punt to win because rodriguez new the WVU defense could not stop UGA.

Hey! Watch iT! jUST CAUSE lsu TOTALLY OUTCLASSED MY iRISH IS NO REASON TO COMPLAIN!! Heck that game was still closer than the RoseBowl or the Championship. The only good game was the Fiesta Bowl.


But, yeah...having to watch Hawaii play would suck........(and I really would prefer to see Georgia over the WAY overrated Vols....)

Georgia will be playing in the National championship after they put a beat down on OVER RATED LS in the SEC championship.

if the sugar bowl gets georgia they will be shafted again... that's a crap team to get in there, they need a really great team like yale, they are undefeated 9-0 now.

If LSU wins out and beats Tenn. in the SEC champ. and UGA wins out. they will be ranked in the top 10. LSU gets the NC game and the Sugar would likely replace with the best SEC team available.

If Tenn loses to vandi or UK, UGA would go to the SEC championship. If UGA wins the get the automatic berth in the sugar. If UGA loses they probably get the Outback or chick fil-a.

In the SEC your luck can change just like that......

b/c there are 5 bcs games and this one is probably going to be the two worst teams left of the 10 who qualify for an automatice BCS bid. Georgia is the highest (lowest ranked team in a conference that righ now qualifies for a BCS bid and Hawaii is the lowest independent team that qualifies for a BCS bid hence the potential matchup...They have to take the two highest teams left who qualify for the bCS and even thought LSU will beat Tenn. in the SEC title game Tenn will have a worse record and way lower ranking then Georgia hence the sugar bowl taking the 2nd best team left in the SEC if the season ends with no more upsets that is!!

Cause they are trying to give the DAWGS a chance to redeem themselves after getting thrashed by the mountaineers 2 years ago! So maybe this year will be different.
