Athletes get multi-million dollar contracts and think they are larger than life? I don't get it, I played football through my youth, since I was 5 years old. Played in High School and played for a Div 2 school. Troy State, (who is now a Div 1 school) But I didn't get the chance to continue my dream, to play in the NFL. I would have done just about anything to play in the NFL, but I took what was given to me. But I don't get why you hear about this time after time, athletes keep getting busted for moronic crimes when they are living a dream life...

Because NFL is not about the "Sport" anymore. It's about a bunch of millionaires that care about nothing but themselves. It's not just the players...it's the Owners, General Managers, Agents, Coaches, on down to the announcers. I believe the game is suffering...The real question is ...How do we get it back?

They feel like they are untouchable. Since they are rich and famous, they feel as if they can just do whatever they want. Finally our judicial system is waking up and actually giving time to these idiots that deserve it. ie Vick, Paris Hilton

Exactly. Vick gets paid what, 30 million dollars a year? He doesn't need to earn an extra $30,000 off of illegal dogfighting. I personally would never take that kind of risk.

I agree with you bronco sox except for one thing, his NFL contract might of given him 30 mill a yearbut what about his endorsements? add it all up its about 130 Million a year. yeah let that soak in now hes goin to jail
