most NFL QBs can throw 70 or 80 yards. Brett Farve probably has the strongest arm in the league, he's unbelievable. For high school, 50 is average maybe 60 for a stronger, larger QB. For you flag football team 50 yards should be about right, but that should be your longest throw. Work on your accuracy in about the 20-30 range to be the best. Accuracy is more important then your arm strenght. I can throw about 50 yards but I'm pretty accurate anywhere from 10 - 35 yards. |

nice. A girl wanting to play football. That's a first for me, maybe you should look me up. lol Report It Well, the distance a QB can throw varies. For a flag football team you might want to throw at most 50 yrds. but, most plays call for 20 yrd. to 30 yrd. passes. Me personally can throw up to ruffley 45 yrds. NFL qbs can probably throw nearly 70 yards but a good distance for highschool is probably 40 or so..im not sure how far i can throw but im under the average distance. You also have to have good accuracy though and a nice spiral. |
