Can someone give me offensive & defensive strategies for a 8-8 non contact flag football league?

The league is 8-8 with a qb and 7 wide receivers on offense. there is no blocking or contact. We don't have the matchups usually to play man defense. We mostly run different zones. we struggle more on defense than on offense. Ideas for redzone offense & defense would help too. Thanks everyone.

On defense, assuming that the qb can't run, I would try a mixed man/zone. Maybe match up man to man on their best 2 receivers and then have your other defenders run 3 zones under, 2 over.

Offensively, running quick timed routes is your best bet in both the red zone and in regular game situations. 5 and 7 yard outs, crossing patterns, curls. The tendency is to go long, and as such most teams defend that way. Quick passes in the 7 yard range will make them commit to the short field which will open up a long pass, plus it will usually be completed before the defense is settled into zones and if they are playing man, the cutting and crossing should create just enough seperation to complete the pass and get a step or two to work with.

when they try to grab ur flag spin haha.. be cheap.. it aint football until its contact

when youre the offence in the red zone just run it with the QB since everyone else is guarding the WR's, and when youre the defence make sure you tip or intercept the ball when it is thrown up. hope this helps
