Flag football Defensive drills?

i coach a 9 man flag football team, and their defense is not that great so i would like to know if anybody has any defensive drills.

Here is how my team is set up 4 linemen, 2 DBs, 2 LB's, and one free saftey.

yes.....

Flag football is tough. But that requires more speed. I'm not telling you how to run your team but if you can use only 2 linemen, 2 DB's, 3LB's and 2 Safetys. This might sound a bit odd but since flag football isn't as physical as tackle, on 3rd and long plays your two down linemen should be the fastest people you have. It puts more pressure on the QB. For drills, I'd do reaction and pursuit drills. I'd also working shading blockers.

make them run till they cant run anymore. give them a cup of water with salt tablets. then yell at them telling them they aint got what it takes. make them run while u yell. never let them have fun and then when someone says that they quit tell them they quit on life also.

i was just kidding about all this obviously but what u can do is

set up cones and make them run in figure 8's(linebackers)

maake the lineman practice what lanes to rush or when to drop back

make the saftey practice reading the quarterbacks eyes cause that helps determine where the quarterback will throw the ball
