Vegas has the Denver Broncos winning 9 1/2 games next season...?

Doesn't that seem very low? With all the new good free agents they got, I see them winning at least 11 or 12. Isn't this an easy bet to go with the OVER. Even if you're not a Bronco fan, if your life depended on choosing the correct OVER or UNDER, wouldn't you definately pick OVER 9 1/2 games?

The reason Vegas is only giving the Broncos 9 1/2 wins is because of the fact that their starting quarterback Jay Cutler is only coming into his second year in the NFL. I'm a Denver Broncos fan and I still say that they will make the playoffs this year and that they are going to be the team to upset the New England Patriots in the playoffs AGAIN. With Dre Bly on the opposite side of Champ Bailey quarterbacks aren't going to know where to go with the ball and with Jarvis Moss's pass rush abilities I see a lot of sacks coming along if the quarterback can't find an open man and quick. On the offensive side of the ball you've got Jay Cutler with the cannon, Javon Walker, Travis Henry who I believe is going to run all over defenses, Daniel Graham from the Patriots, and an already proven difference maker in Tony Scheffler lining up opposite of Graham. I personally don't see how you can go wrong with this team. Like I said, I see them having at least 10 wins, going into the playoffs, and upsetting the New England Patriots.

Vegas has outstanding odds makers. Perhaps they are paying attention to something you looked over?

The Folks in Vegas don't know what there Talking about My Record for Denver will 10 and 6, and as Wild cards.

i would choose over i think they will when 11 games

I like the Broncos, but they have a strong division. 11 or 12 is pushing it, not when they play the Chargers twice, the Colts, the Bears, and the Chiefts twice. I could see 10 wins, but more than that will be tough.

I would take the 9.5 games. Denver should win easily 10 games if not 12.

maybe they figure jay cutler will have some sophmore pains
i think they'll win 10-11

I will pick under. I see them as either an 8-8 or 9-7 team.
They did some things in the off-season that I would not agree with. I do not believe that Dre Bly is a good corner (unlike many media types do), and he will not be able to replace the late Darent Williams. I also believe that getting rid of quality middle linebacker Al Wilson was a big mistake. I also do not believe that their defensive is any good. So this team will have trouble stopping other teams. In fact team "Commitment to Stupidity", the lowly Raiders have a much better defense than the Broncos do.
As for the offense, they are using a 2nd year quarterback, who has never had a winning record(he was 2-3 in his starts, and his college team did not have a winning record), and do have some line questions.
So this looks like a .500 team to me.

Go with the OVER and put them down for winning the SuperBowl.

I'm a HUGE Denver Bronco fan and I'll give my honest opinion...Vegas is wrong. It sounds crazy to say that but they are.

Denver has made some key adjustments to their starting lineup. Signing Dre Bly will have its ups and downs. But I believe it was a key move by Denver. The young DB's will now have a very intelligent veteran along with Champ Bailey to help get them through the tragic loss of Darent Williams, a wonderful young man on and off the field who was killed in a drive by shooting in Denver after their loss to the 49ers. Darent Williams was one of my favorite players and still is I'll never forget him for as long as I live.

Sorry about that, back to answering the question. They also have young quarter back Jay Cutler who I believe will have a fantastic year. Signing Travis Henry was also a key move. I'm going to miss Tatum Bell but I believe Travis is the man for the job. Denver drafted some key defensive lineman in the draft as well which will help Denver's lousy pass rush. The only move I wish Denver wouldn't have made was getting rid of Al Wilson. I realize he was injured and getting old, but he carried this Bronco defense on his shoulders along with John Lynch when Denver needed it most. He was the cornerstone of this defense and I'm going to miss him. Wilson didn't get the credit Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher get, but in my opinion, he deserved to.

To finish my answer, I want to say I strongly disaggree with Vegas and if I was of age I would take that bet and make my self some money. Jay Cutler and Javon Walker are going to lead this offense, while John Lynch, Champ Bailey, and newly signed corner Dre Bly are the veterans to discipline this strong defense.

u should consider ur team lucky, if they think they r gonna win that many games. casue i though the most they could win is atleast 6 or 7.

thats a pretty good bet. they are a young em and theydont have any good qbs

No.....They have a QB with not very much experience.......And i haven't seen anything yet that justifies them having that good of a record......There is no way they are going to compete with Colts, Pats or Chargers........Those are far better teams....

Take the over. They'll win 10 and possibly 11. Denver doesn't have a good defense? Denver lead the NFL in Defense for a good part of last season. They made huge upgrades with some pickups this offseason. Their defense won't be the weak spot this year. Al Wilson was done. Denver knew it and wanted him to quit but he wanted to keep playing, so they attempted to deal him.

Under is the smart bet there are two better teams in there own division and the Raiders are better. They may only get one victory in there division.

how do you win a 1/2 a game? lol I think they will win 12
