Which is better to have on your team, the modern day quarterback or the classic hard nose quarterback from back in the day?

Limited physical ability! neither are considered a serious running threat but if need be they can pick up a key first down during a tight game!

I'd say Brady has had less talent around him compared to the great teams Montana was on during the late 80's (Rice, Taylor, Rathman, Craig those guys were GREAT!) Who has Brady had up to this year? (Dillon? Troy Brown?? clearly these guys aren't in the same category as Rice and Craig!)

Warren Moon good arm but limited movement

Joe Montana. Very few mistakes, spreads the ball out and is a proven winner, regardless of the circumstances. Terry Bradshaw is a close second.

Brady is getting better and better, addressing all of the shortcomings.He is moving around alot better, and his arm strength and accuracy have dramatically improved since he started.....He looks like his idle Montana more and more.....

Before you all start bashing, NO, he is not Montana, nobody is or ever will be.....

I would say John Elway. For the simple fact that when their backs were against the wall, they both left it all on the field no matter the out come.

i dont think the qb's from back in the day would do good in the NFL of today. guys are faster and stronger. Manning and Brady do good because they got great o-lines and know when to get rid of the ball.

I'd say Joe Namath. He's got that charisma and confidence that Broadway Joe had. Tom really has the press and the fans fawning over him like Joe had also.

Joe Montana because they are both good QB's and good in the clutch, and both are very overrated because they play on superior teams.
