It seems like the hall of fame gives short shrift to place kickers and punters. After Jan Stenrud there aren't any. Should there be more

Adam Vintieri is a lock HOFaer

I believe Gary Anderson and Mort Andersen will soon have spots in the Hall of Fame for their prolific point scoring. Active kickers Matt Stover and Adam Vinatieri are also well-deserving, upon their retirement (Stover is the 2nd most accurate kicker ever, after the flameout Vanderjagt, and Vinatieri has kicked for 4 Super Bowl winners).

Of course, George Blanda was a Kicker-Quarterback and Sammy Baugh was a Punter-Quarterback-Defensive Back, so there are other kickers in the Hall. Kicker Lou Groza is also in the Hall (he was a part-time OT in his younger days).

Soon, there will probably be 7 kickers in the Hall, all of whom are clearly deserving.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has much higher standards than the Baseball Hall does, so 7 kickers isn't too few, though I definitely think that Ray Guy should be inducted as a punter (however, there are probably no other deserving punters, as they are usually interchangeable).
