Well i dunno. it might be some kind of helmet. football was a good sport back in the day when you didnt wear protection. NFL players are weak, i bet you none of them weigh even more than 300lbs not even the linesmen.

It is a sticker to add color on the tabs that are on the top off the shield. Besides that, the cost more than that.

It's also known as a visor. It's just to keep people's fingers out of your eyes (and it is supposed to take away the glare of the sun/lights). "Eye shield" works too though.

Yea, this is just a logo for the eye shield and not the shield itself. If you look at the two orange tabs (with the white "O") that is what you are paying for.

Its a eyeshield. Its supposed to keep stuff out of your eyes, but players wear it to get noticed. Mostly DB's wear it and they don't see as much contact as lineman or linebackers.
