|How much do you tip the person running a superbowl pool if the winner wins $500.00?|
I would say anywhere between 5-10%. I understand that it is gambling and everyone is taking a chance but it is a lot of work setting those things up and having collect the money from everyone (there is always a couple deadbeats) so I think a tip is definitely warranted.
shoot! i ran a pool and no one tipped me! man, i got ripped off! and i didn't even win in a square!
buy them a drink, no tip.
It is customary to tip 5% on such contests. If the winner got $500 then the tip should be $25 from that person. Other winners should tip accordingly.
NOTHING!! That's what gambling is about. Why would you tip a person who just printed out a piece of paper or drew some squares? I would show up to the party with some food or drink, though. What are we, animals?
kind of customary to tip 10% when in action and someone either puts you in play(a play in for you) or on to a play you werent aware of...at least thats what the guys at the track or the books I hang out have been doing since I was a kid...also thats what 'signers' generally get
I would give $20 if I won $500. Maybe a little more if they were a good friend of mine.
