i think i will read a book or do more homework. phooey on seahawks and 49'ers. the bottom of the barrel if you ask me. they cannot help it but i just am not interested in monday night football since it changed. sure went downhill don't you think?

It has gone downhill yes. A lot of it is due to scheduling the year before and not knowing who's going to be the better teams. Another big part of it is the competition from the Sunday night game. Most of the matchups this year on SNF have been better than MNF, not to mention Madden & Michaels, who are probably the best broadcast team, do Sunday night instead of Monday. Tonight's game is a perfect example though. Before the year, both of these teams were supposed to be much better than they are. Now that it's week 11 and they both stink however, we're stuck with bad matchup of west coast teams that nobody here in the east cares about at all. I for one will not be watching.

Its not ESPN's fault. The NFL sets the schedule and had no idea both teams would suck so much!

I agree but the NFL can not play the same teams on Monday night every week.

Both of the teams playing tonight really should have been better this year and made the game more interesting, but because of injureries and lack of execution both teams have been struggling.

But with that, the NFL can not predict the future and is trying to play the teams that should be good, which is why you do not see the lions or browns on Monday even though they have decent records this year and are entertaining to watch finally.

Well, last year Seattle made the playoffs and beat Dallas so they are a legitimate team. Most followers of the NFL expected the 49ers to progress this year and challenge Seattle for the NFC West. Besides Seattle is a beautiful stadium with great fans.

They have to be fair. It's because MNF is on ESPN now. I am a Packers fan, and they used to be on like 3 MNF games a year. They only have one this year. Sorry... watch something else tonight!

The schedule was made a while ago. The NFL tries to predict which games are key.

Seattle needs this division game, while SF needs creditability. I'm sorry that you are such a fair weather fan of the sport at such a tender age. Maybe when you are more mature you'll like the sport in all its facets.

yeah I agree this game sucks but maybe they will put on a good game. yeah nbc gets great games even before thier flex schedule seahawks 24-3
