Matt Forte for the Doak Walker Award?

Matt Forte is leading NCAA I-A in rushing averaging 192.38 yards per game for a 2-6 Tulane team. He doesn't have a chance for the Heisman but should still be honored.

He is also leading in all-purpose rushing with 218.38 yards per game.

He had 303 rushing yards against SE Louisiana, 202 against Army, 212 against UAB, 349 against SMU and 282 against Memphis.

Absolutely he is an amazing and talented player. I watched him in the LSU game and he was great. Too bad he is the only good thing on Tulane's team...

Depends who he's going up against. If he averaged that much against good defenses, I'd say let him have it. But if it were bad defenses, it's questionable.
