Most of the best high school players come from two states, TX and FL. They often go to other states to play college ball, but a great number come from those two.

Then as a region, the south produces the most number of college player, so while California is first in amy things, I think not in football, although it has been good

I remeber that article and I think Notre Dame Oklahoma and Alabama were the first three, but I'm not sure of that. They were in the top rung though.

There's a lot a ways to measure, I would base it on the amount of talent coming out of high school. In that respect Cali is as good as Texas and Florida. Oh and it's the OAKLAND Raiders.

I would have to say no. I have lived and worked all across the country, and few places could complete with Florida and Texas for football. In Cali, football is just a sport, in FL and TX, it's religion!!!!!!.
