So basically, if your team is not in the SEC, you're a poser?

IF I'm not mistaken....OSU was the ONLY team in the Big Ten to have 20 IN - CONFERENCE wins in a row....

Call us posers and over rated all you'd like.....but the facts speak for themselves....

If you're going to dispute, please provide proof other than your word please....

http://statistics.ncaafootball.com/defau...

The only game that matters is next week.

GO BUCKS!

Here, here!

the SEC is everything bad........exept overated

you're not over-rated, nobody says that.......it's just with so many good teams, nobody can be amazing.

okay

i hate ohio state go michigan were gonna beat your *** next week.

Who is number one now?
OSU or LSU?
I rest my case.

sec has more bowl wins, 177 to big tens 111 and has a 63-45 record vs the big ten. your just upset. its ok

yes...but the difference between getting 20 wins in the Big 11 and the SEC is simple..the Big 11 sucks. There are your facts. the SEC has 10 bowl eligible teams.

I'm sick of the LSU front runners.

YOU JUST PROVED OUR POINT FOR US!!!!!! You said "IN-CONFERENCE." If you meant non-conference, look at their non-conference opponents this year. ALL of them are in Ohio! Youngstown State! Akron! Kent State! Which one is good? NONE! Now, they did have Washington, but they have a hard time deciding when they want to be good. Look at Auburn's. Or even that Sun Belt team, TROY! Auburn had Kansas State, South Florida, New Mexico State, and Tennessee Tech. Half of them are good. Look at Troy's. Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, and Western Kentucky. Ohio State needs to schedule better for ANYONE to really respect them.

I'm confused as to what the actual question is. but here is my take on things

i watch between 8-12 college games a week from all conferences. that being said you can see alot of what people argue about on the field. now i know that you dont know who the better team or conference is until they play, but SEC football often seems to be on a higher level than other conferences. I'm not going to go so far as to say that if vandy played in the big 10 they would dominate, but i dont think they would perennially be last like they are in the SEC. Obviously the major conferences play on an elevated level, but SEC and sometimes Big 12 are just so smash mouth week in and week out. The common consensus on the Pac 10 is that its all high flying and no defense but anyone who watches alot of games knows that's not entirely true. People who bad mouth the Big 10 often call the conference soft, 'just because'......to me, the big difference is that you dont see the speed combined with the killer instinct mixed with talent in the other conferences........

wait... we can call OSU over-rated and posers for racking up wins against toothless (non potent) opponents in the Big 10 AND non-conference, but you use stats from those games to defend YOUR stance? OSU runs it up on some non-football teams and you decide "stats speak for themselves"? nah, the number one team in all the land was on the ropes all day today... and that number one defense in all the land (you know... statistically number 1) could NOT stop the juice. the fact is, when it is time to put up, ohio state is limp. illinois today and florida last year... if there ever is a seven degrees of Ron Zook (florida's head coach and then illinois)...

OSU just lost to an SEC style team coached by a guy whose last job was in the SEC. he is going to go 9-3 probably.... Zook was let go from the SEC rightly or wrongly.

i don't know what exactly your facts were supposed to speak for.

Yeah POSERS!

How about OSU fans be classy for once and be gracious in defeat instead of whining. People put you in the Title Game last year and you blew it, just like you blew it this year. Just accept it, the competition is weak. The Big Ten is weak. Yeah, you can run off 20-IN CONFERENCE WINS IN AGAINST WEAK COMPETITION. Half of the Big Ten is very weak.

I don't dispute your facts, but you've proven the conclusion of the SEC fans. The tradition in the Big Two Conference is a bit shaken this year, but the SEC continues to have top teams in a schedule in which half or more of the games are not foregone conclusions, and the dings, let alone the major injuries, take their toll during a normal SEC season.

OSU a has schedule rank of 63.
LSU has a schedule rank of 12.

OSU has only played 2 teams that were ranked at the time they played them, of which none are ranked now.

OSU is 1-0 against top 30 teams.

LSU has played 6 teams that were ranked at the time they played them and 4 are ranked in the top 25 today.

LSU is 4-1 against teams in the top 30.

You must be upset that OSU just got beat by the illini.

and dont forget last years blowout loss to the Florida Gators.

big deal! 20 in conference wins! your conference sucks! AND its over rated.
try winning 58 home games in a row, that include 17 games against teams ranked, 12 of those victories were over teams ranked in the top ten. Six against teams ranked in the top five. Four times UM downed the nation's top ranked team. That streak lasted nearly 10 years!

thats just one example of a team playing tough schedules year in and year out.

you are the weakest link, g'bye!

Ya basically according to SEC fans (Mostly LSU fans that will be gone as soon as LSU isn't a top 5 team next year).

GO BUCKEYES!!
GO TROJANS!!
