Why do some teams play more games in Div. 1-A than other teams and why do they play different teams every season? BTW, who is the reject that's running the NCAA? |

I don't know why some teams play more than others, but I think it is because some divisions need conference games to decide who is better, while some don't. For example, OSU is the only undefeated team in its division, so it obviously doesn't need to play another game to dispute that. Florida however, had the same in conference record as Arkansas, so they had to play for the division championship. |

That's not technically correct, the ACC, SEC, Big 12, MAC, and C-USA all play a conference championship game between the winners of each division, so that's a 13th game there for 10 teams. Plus, the NCAA has a rule that playing Hawaii doesn't count against your 12-game cap. Report It |
