Everyone is saying pats are shoo in for super bowl....and as much as i love my patriots, i hate to get caught up in all the hype...and the colts looked really good too. So whats everyone think?

Hard to say. I think the Saints have a better offense than the Jets, but the Jets have a better defense than the Saints. In both cases, neither team is very good. The Saints are a 10-6 team in the weak NFC South Division, the Jets were a 10-6 team with a fairly easy schedule last year. What impressed me most about the Colts was they were able to stop the run of Saints. What impressed me most about the Pats was how well their offensive line played. In the whole game the Jets might have gotten one hit and 3 pressures on Brady. The Jets being a division rival for the Pats should give them a good game, but outside of a couple of spurts, the Jets didn't do much of anything. New Englands real test is next Sunday against the Chargers. Watching the Chargers this Sunday against the Bears I would predict New England by 10 in that game, but dont caught up in the hype of that either. The Colts and Pats play each other later in the year, and that may very well be a match of 2 undefeated teams.

Colts the quality of the team they beat is much more than what the Jets have to offer.

I think you'd have to put both of them at the top of the AFC right now. I would have to put the Pats above the Colts for now. I think the Pats just have more depth than the Colts. A couple injuries and the Colts could faulter. The road to the Super Bowl will definately go through one of these two cities.

Pats. Not to take anything away from the Colts, they looked awesome. But I was more impressed wth New England because they went on the road and blew out a division rival. Can't wait until these two teams play each other. New England looks like they are locked and loaded early.

The Colts, they beat a better squad, and convincingly too. The Pats had a good game, but the Jets aren't exactly a great team. Lions all the way baby!!

Indy showed that they were back in a big way to defend their title, while the pats did what we expected them to do. coming into the game i expected the pats to blow out the jets in the meadowlands like the've done 7 out of the last 8 times i think. as for Indy they shut down a geat offenisve team and seeing as defense is always their problem i have to give the opening weekend nod to them.

i don't think anybody's a shoe in for the super bowl, it's the NFL just about anybody is capable of beating anybody else on any given sunday.
But if i was a betting man(which i am) i would put my money on the Pat's to win it all this year. They had an amazing off season.

I do have a feeling the AFC Championship game will be between the Patriots and Colts, with the Pats winning it.

Both teams played remarkably, although it took the Colts a while to really warm up. I'd have to go with the Pats by a hair.

colts they played a straight up game and won the pats won but they are cheaters and ended up with yet another asteric by that victory....goes with all the other asterics the patsies have been piling up
