How many people thought the touchdown the ref called in double overtime was bogus?

You can clearly see that Kentucky never crossed the goal line on that play. I guess the ref's just like to be on TV calling all those bs call's on LSU all night.

I did, and my hubby (bama fan) did. I'm still not sure it was a TD, but the end result is that Kentucky got the call and they won the game.
They did play a great game, and we have zero excuse for losing, it was our fault for not playing better. Hats off to Kentucky.

LSU RULES

in double overtime they kicked field goals

UK went touchdown, field goal, touchdown
LSU went touchdown, field goal, stupid running play on 4th and 3

oh that play, it was close... but UK probably would have gotten in on the next play. it's almost impossible to stop any good team that has first and goal on the one. it wasn't that significant. the roughing the passer call was what did them in. the LSU player did needlessly club him the second time after the first swat. without that it was 4-15 from the 30. they might not had made that field goal it was 45 yards not a chip shot by any stretch.

Either way, LSU would not have been able to hold onto first spot on the BCS rankings by barely sliding by a lesser ranked team in over time.
They are still a great team, just have to work harder to get back on top.

I'm a big LSU fan....but they just got outplayed and outcoached by Kentucky....I don't think LSU has looked sharp since the VaTech game. Too bad, LSU really does have a herd of really good players

as far as i remember, they didn't get a touchdown in double overtime. they had to kick a field goal.

ANDD, in the middle of the game when that Kentucky running back supposedly crossed the line into the end-zone...
YOU COULD SEE FROM THE AERIAL VIEW THAT HE DIDNT CROSS..


it was a home field call.
